A Spa Electronic Lock combines a fingerprint reader with a wet-area-tolerant body so a wellness guest unlocks a personal cabinet with a finger — no card to carry in a robe pocket, no PIN to remember in a steamy room. The coating survives humidity where standard electronics corrode, and a PIN fallback prevents a lotioned or gloved finger from blocking access during a treatment shift.
How a spa electronic lock works
A user places a finger on the sensor; the lock matches the template on-chip and drives the latch. Up to 100 fingerprints register per lock, covering a personal spa cabinet or a shared staff unit. PIN acts as the fallback credential programmed at deployment. The lock runs on 4× AA alkaline cells with a standard mortise, retrofitting existing personal spa and salon cabinets in minutes.
