The Bluetooth Cabinet Lock adds app-based credential management to an offline lock: a mobile app over BLE issues, revokes, and schedules access without a server on the cabinet side. For a parcel fleet or managed office cabinet, that means time-limited pickup codes, auditable grants, and automatic revocation — all with the simplicity of a battery-powered retrofit.
How a Bluetooth cabinet lock works
An operator or end user opens the app and unlocks over BLE; the lock verifies the credential on-chip and drives the latch. PIN and MIFARE card act as fallback so a dead phone battery never blocks access. The app also programs time-limited credentials — a parcel pickup window, a visitor stay, a temporary staff shift — and revokes them automatically when the window closes. The lock keeps working through any network outage because authentication remains local.
