Why choose a dedicated gym locker lock
A Gym Locker Lock takes the offline card cabinet lock platform and tunes it for high-turnover fitness and pool environments. Cards are issued per visit and revoked between users, so a lost card is a re-issue problem — not a re-key problem. Because authentication is offline, the lock keeps working whether the locker-room WiFi is up or down, which matters in a building where wireless coverage is notoriously patchy.
How a gym locker lock works
A member taps a MIFARE card on the reader; the lock verifies the card on-chip in under 0.6 seconds and drives the latch. A manager card programs, revokes, and resets user cards without touching the locker hardware. The lock runs on 4× AA alkaline cells with a standard mortise, so existing metal and laminate lockers accept it with a 5-minute mechanical retrofit and no rewiring.
